AN AFTERNOON EXPLORING THE BLESSINGS OF THE MINISTRY OF RECONCILIATION

The Rt Revd Lindsay Urwin, OGS, and the Revd Canon Dr Colleen O'Reilly. 

A seminar, for clergy, those training for ordination, and for all lay people, exploring theological and pastoral perspectives on the Church's ministry of reconciliation. This seminar is prompted by the recent consideration by the Royal Commission of the nature and purpose of confession and the role and responsibilities of the confessor and the Canon of General Synod (adopted by Melbourne Synod) permitting a clergy to report cases of child abuse revealed during The Rite of Reconciliation.
