Bloomsday Celebration 2021
The Irish Community Players and Canberra Irish Club invite you to join us in this commemoration and celebration of the life of Irish writer James Joyce (1882 to 1941) observed annually on 16 June, the day his novel Ulysses takes place in 1904, the date of his first outing with his wife-to-be Nora Barnacle and named after it’s protagonist Leopold Bloom. Our celebration is in the form of a literary and musical journey through Dublin with readings from Ulysses and related songs.
