"It's Not Just a Cookbook" Launch

Our Rotary Club, Upper Blue Mountains Sunrise, is launching a community cookbook, cheekily titled “It's Not Just a Cookbook".
It tells the story of the late Irene Reid, who was a renowned caterer and chef in the Blue Mountains. With the backing of her husband Bob Reid OAM, and supported by Rotary, we pay tribute to Irene's many years of community service.
The recipes are from Irene’s repertoire and her Rotary friends. They have all been cooked, tested and developed by our Club members and other Rotarians. This is a beautifully crafted book, professionally photographed by David Wallace, which you can purchase on the night. It makes a great Christmas present!
Our Club has been working on this for a couple of years. All the proceeds from the sale of the Cookbook will go to our Homelessness project where we are partnering with local community housing provider Link Wentworth.
MC for the night is local identity Maurice Cooper OAM.
