Theatre Studies at UNE presents Nick Enright’s award winning play, Blackrock. It’s Toby Ackland’s birthday party and that should mean heaps of grog, drugs and good clean fun. But by morning a young girl is dead – she’s been raped by three boys and bashed by a rock. Who is responsible? Blackrock is an intimate and strongly shaped drama which examines the social forces behind violent impulses, in a range of lives.
