LEGO Robotics for Beginners
The health & wellbing of visitors to the Library is our priority. Please read the following Terms & Conditions carefully:
- Maximum of 12 craft stations per session will be allowed.
- Due to Covid-19, please contact the Library if you wish to book multiple children from the one family.
- Limit of one parent/caregiver per family may accompany a child/children to each session.
- Furniture or seating in the Children's Room must not be moved.
Sessions On: MONDAY 6 10:30AM-11:30AM & 2:30PM-3:30PM & FRIDAY 17 JULY FROM 2:30PM to 3:30PM
For Ages: 8 years & over (Free event)
If your child loves LEGO and is interested in developing skills in the areas of science and computing, they might want to book into our introductory LEGO Robotics session. Participants will be involved in a hands-on, project-based activity an will introduce them to the concept of robotics. This involves designing a creation and bringing it to life with computer software. Places are strictly limited, so please ensure bookings are made for each child per family. Social distancing measures will be put in place. Each robotics session is a repeat session, so please only book your child in for one session. Parents are not required to stay. If needed, a limit of one parent per family may stay for the event.
