Aunty Daniella Chedzey a proud Ngiyampaa Wangaaypuwan women of the Pilaarrkiylalu Pliar tree and exhibiting artist as part of ‘Darkinjung Ngurra’ (Country) Women’s Spirit Connections’.
This workshop will begin with an introduction to traditional coil weaving where you will learn what traditional fibres were used, how to gather and prepare your natural fibres through to a discussion on the materials needed and where to obtain them and sustainable practices, all materials supplied.
