As we work to reimagine the schooling experience so that all young people can thrive, Djoowak: The Beyond Boundaries Institute invites school leaders and teachers to join Finnish educator, thought-leader and author, Professor Pasi Sahlberg to The Studio School Fremantle, for a unique and important workshop:
Thriving in School- What would it take?
Professor Sahlberg will bring his unique experience and expertise in exploring the following:
- What would it take to have a world class education for all our students?
- How does Australia compare to other systems in the world and what lessons can we learn?
- What is equity in education? Why does it matter?
- How can innovation in our schools create thriving communities of learning?
- How can we enhance equity in our schools and enable every young person to thrive?
When: 12pm to 4pm, September 21
Where: The Studio School, Fremantle
Cost: $100 with a light lunch included
