About

Hugh Karunanayake is the founding President of the Ceylon Society of Australia. He was a senior civil servant both in Sri Lanka and in New South Wales and is a prolific writer about all things Ceylon/Sri Lanka as well as being an avid collector.

The 2023 Victor Melder Lecture is presented in partnership with the Sri Lankan Australians Incorporated Books, Art and Photography Exhibition
