About

What do we do with our grief about climate change? Where do we find hope? What are some strategies for coping with our emotions and the reality of what is going on in our environment? How can we become a more resilient neighbourhood?

Discussions around climate change can often feel daunting. Sometimes we feel hopeful, other times we might feel overwhelmed. In this workshop we will share what we are feeling and think about ways we can thrive as we come to terms with the reality of our changing climate and an uncertain future. What can we do to take care of ourselves, our community and our world?

Our facilitator is Dr Sally Gillespie - writer, workshop facilitator, lecturer and public speaker with a background in depth psychology and eco-psychology, author of Climate Crisis and Consciousness: Reimagining our World and Ourselves (2020). Sally has facilitated workshops since 2010, nationally and internationally.
