We invite you to join us at the annual Kingborough Tigers AFL Grand Final Luncheon on a day of wonderful football conversation covering the past, present and future along with reflections on Tasmanian sport with Tasmanian Football Hall of Fame Inductee #102 - Robert Shaw.
Recruited from Sandy Bay FC to Essendon FC where he became a Life Member, Robert returned to Tasmania where in 1984 he led Clarence as Premiership Captain-Coach. One of Tasmania’s finest moments in State of Origin Football saw Robert engineer the Tasmanian win over Victoria as Coach in 1990, followed by roles as Senior Coach of Fitzroy FC & Adelaide FC and of course roles as Essendon Assistant Coach for over 10 years.
