WEAPONS SPARRING SERIES BY WEKAF AUSTRALIA
About
WEKAF Australia, the national representative organisation for the competition sports of weapons sparring in Australia (knife, stick, long stick and padded weapons), is hosting a series of weapons sparring seminars at All Active Martial Arts in Epping VICThe events will run from 11am - 1pm Saturdays, with the first hour focusing on teaching and training the weapon's sparring fundamentals, techniques, as well as refereeing & judging for competition sparring, followed by a second hour of friendly tournament sparring in line with WEKAF competition rules where participants can try their hand in point or live sparring, as well as in judging and refereeing.
Week 1, Sat 24th August: Knife Sparring
Week 2, Sat 31st August 2024: Bangkaw (Long Stick) Sparring
The events are open to all with an interest in martial arts and weapons sparring, aged 14 and over.
