Southern Highlands Jazz fans are in for a double treat when Australia’s number one swing band is joined by the one and only Kate Wadey.
Drummer Andrew Dickeson's "Blue Rhythm Band" is beyond a doubt Australia’s most popular swing band. Featuring Brad Child on sax, Peter Locke on piano and Jacob Graham on bass - this is as good as it gets!
Vocalist Kate Wadey masterfully presents classic jazz repertoire with an other-worldly charm and warmth that belies her youth. She will take you on a musical journey that is playful yet sophisticated - exploring the power of storytelling through song.
The $35 ticket price ($30 for SH Jazz members, $20 for student/child) plus booking fee is for event entry only, with reserved table seating. Food and drink is available to order at the venue. If you have any special song requests or seating preferences, please let us know when you book! Doors open from 1:00pm with the band playing from 2-5pm.
