Bird ID 3: How to ID the birds in our local parks & reserves

Ever wondered what bird is calling from the tree-tops, flying over or perching near you in your local park or reserve? Join us for this dynamic talk and learn how to recognise the birds by their behaviour, calls and darn good looks
Whether they are robins, parrots or birds of prey, there is no shortage of beautiful and fascinating birds in the City of Kalamunda and plenty of parks and reserves, so expect an action-packed, beautifully illustrated and very informative talk from our two dynamic bird boffins, Rachel and Mike Green.
They have been recording the birdlife in many of our parks and reserves and have many great examples of the birds seen within the CIty.
They are the authors of "A guide to the Birds of Broz Park"& their bird garden was recently featured on the ABC's Gardening Australia TV programme and in September's Gardening Australia Magazine. Bring any bird photographs/calls you want identified and be prepared to learn.
Tickets:$5 per person, plus booking fee.
