Maths Webinar: Code, Chance & Create with Maths & Micro:bit

About
Code, Chance, Create: Unlocking Maths & Digital Tech with Micro:bit GamesThe Game with No Rules is an engaging hands-on activity for students in Years 3 and upwards that integrates Digital Technologies and Mathematics. In this webinar, Suzanne Carter and John West from the CSER STEM team will demonstrate how to play a simple game using a BBC micro:bit and a 5x5 game board to explore chance experiments, random movement, recording data and calculating scores. Teachers will then be challenged to design their own maths-focused game by adapting or creating micro:bit code, devising a scoring system and creating clear instructions for the game.
Presenters: Dr John West and Suzanne Carter
