Ever wondered what bird is calling from the tree-tops, flying over or perching near you in your local park or reserve? Join us for this dynamic talk and learn how to recognise the birds by their behaviour, calls and darn good looks!
Whether they are robins, parrots or birds of prey, there is no shortage of beautiful and fascinating birds in the City of Kalamunda. An action-packed, beautifully illustrated and very informative talk from our two dynamic bird boffins, Rachel and Mike Green. They have been recording the birdlife and have many great examples of the birds seen within the City, including in Lesmurdie and High Wycombe. They are the authors of "A Guide to the Birds of Broz Park" and their garden was recently featured on the ABC's Gardening Australia and the September-Gardening Australia Magazine. Bring any bird photo or bird calls you would like identified.
Tickets are $5 per person, plus booking fee.
