Buddhism as a Living Therapy with Venerable Robina Courtin
WHAT: An afternoon of discussion with Australian-born Buddhist nun, Venerable Robina Courtin, exploring Buddhism as a living therapy. Recognising the ways in which the Buddha—sometimes described as the first Cognitive-Behavioural Therapist—taught practical tools to heal and train the mind.This special session will be facilitated by Louise Fisher, clinical psychologist and former AABCAP Director of Training, who will guide the discussion and Q&A. All mental health professionals, students and those curious about Buddhism as therapy are welcome to attend.
