The Pan-Macedonian Association of NSW is honoured to host its 85th commemorative event on Sunday, 19 April 2026, marking the anniversary of the Battle of Vevi (11–12 April 1941). This significant occasion pays tribute to the courage and sacrifice of Greek and ANZAC soldiers who fought bravely on Greece’s northern borders, in the village of Vevi within the Florina municipality. The ceremony will honour their enduring legacy while recognising the deep historical ties between Australia, New Zealand, and Greece. The Association is also proud to welcome Panayiotis Diamadis as the keynote speaker for this meaningful commemoration.Date
