About the Conference: The Spiritus International Leaders Conference 2027 serves as the central gathering point for a rapidly growing international network committed to renewing Catholic education. Following our successful 2024 gathering in Canberra which brought together over 330 participants , this event scales to support up to 500 delegates across school systems, universities, and ministries. This year’s conference is uniquely situated within the spiritual momentum building toward Sydney hosting the 54th International Eucharistic Congress in 2028. Our three-day program arc is designed to re-anchor educational leadership as a genuine, Spirit-given vocation.
The Three-Day Program Arc
Pentecost Sunday (16 May)
Fire for the Mission: An optional but integrated day of prayer, international testimonies, and renewal at the St Mary's Cathedral School Hall, concluding with a commissioning Mass in the Cathedral.
Monday Conference (17 May)
Vocational Leadership: A deep dive into staff formation and leadership frameworks.
Tuesday Conference (18 May)
Leading and Forming the Next Generation: Extending vocation into school youth ministry, missionary discipleship, and engagement with the digital age.
St Mary’s Cathedral College will operate as a student-free site on the Monday to dedicate the entire campus to our delegates.
