Discover the birds of Jorgensen Park! The City of Kalamunda are inviting you to a bird watching walk, led by local bird experts Rachel Green and Mike Green.This special event is part of the Community Rivercare Program, funded through the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions (DBCA). The program has delivered significant environmental improvements along the Spring Road Living Stream, including revegetation works, riffle creation and weed control.
To celebrate the success of these restoration efforts, we invite you to explore the project site and discover some of the birdlife that now calls the area home. Whether you're an experienced birdwatcher or simply curious about local birdlife, this is a great opportunity to learn from local experts and connect with nature.
As this is an outdoor activity, please wear sturdy footwear and weather-appropriate clothing, and don't forget to bring your binoculars.
