Come and join Hobart Parish for light refreshments and the opportunity to watch the documentary feature film 'Mary Meets Mohammad.' This film follows the arrival of Tasmania's first detention centre through the eyes of Mary, a local Christian woman and knitting club member, and Mohammad, a Muslim Afghan Hazara asylum seeker detained inside the centre - as they connect through the gift of a knitted beanie. A Q&A with the film's director/producer, Heather Kirkpatrick, will follow the screening.
