Intensive Course on Joyce's 'Portrait'

This intensive course will run from 12 noon - 6.00pm, on Sunday 12 March 2016, at the Celtic Club and will examine the remarkable novel by James Joyce, 'A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man'. It will examine its innovative technique, its subversion of genres, and its destabilising of many nineteenth-century pieties.
The presenter, Frances Devlin-Glass, has taught Joyce for several decades to many levels of students and is committed to the notion that Joyce is comprehensible.
