About

Choir director Gary Smith presents a fun workshop for singers focussing on some easy to learn choir arrangements of traditional and popular Hawaiian songs. Those singers who also play ukulele are welcome to bring their instruments and play along. The workshop will also feature some performances of Hawaiian music by Gary and his partner, singer Anna Salleh, who shares his love for the islands' music.

About Gary Smith
Gary Smith has a Diploma in Music Education from the NSW Conservatorium of Music (Sydney) and worked as a music teacher in NSW high schools, Catholic and Independent schools for 27 years.
He is the musical director for 5 Sydney community choirs including Bondi Sings, The ABC Choir, The Bridge on the River Choir and The Cleftomaniacs.
Gary created and manages the Acappella Central website which is a widely used resource for choirs around Australia and also leads international music tours.
