The Chamber Choir Capella Quirina Neuss was founded in 1989 with the aim to work on rare ecclesiastical choral music.
In the repertoire of the choir there are different masterpieces of music of the renaissance from composers like Josquin, Tallis, Machaut. But the choir also cares for classical oratorios and modern works by Poulenc, Nystedt, Chilcott and Sandström.
The group furthermore favors the choral works of J.S. Bach and contemporary a-cappella arrangements of German folksongs.
