A cosy event around the fire in the beautiful Fryers Forest.
With a meal cooked in the mumu (Papuan earth oven) and music from the Black Orchid Stringband - featuring members of the Melbourne West Papuan community.
This is a fundraiser for the Black Orchid Stringband to continue promoting West Papuan
culture as part of their campaign for independence. The group will travel to the Solomon
Islands in July to perform at the Melanesian Arts Festival.
