Claremont Concert Band presents 'Haunting Harmonies', a cabaret-style evening concert, celebrating a wide genre of music, under the baton of Musical Director Mayuka Juber.The band is a 35 piece concert band consisting of woodwind, brass & percussion instruments. The concert repertoire includes Danny Elfman favourites such as Beetlejuice & a lighthearted tarantella about finding a Huntsman in your car! There will be a Harry Potter medley & an epic piece describing medieval twins, the Witch & the Saint. The CCB Clarinets will be performing Ghostbusters, a memorable tune from the movie of the same name. There will be other easy listening music as well. This program is sure to thrill!
To really get into the mood of the evening, the audience is encouraged to dress up in Halloween theme. Tickets include a complimentary drink & nibbles to enjoy, as well as tea, coffee & a sweet treat. Additional drinks are available to purchase.
Doors open 6:30pm, show begins at 7:00.
