Frances Cameron - An Evening at the Piano
Frances Cameron is a Tasmanian composer and pianist and Associate Artist with the AMC. Her music blends classical elegance with the contemplative spirit of contemporary minimalism. Her sound—rooted in romantic and impressionist traditions—is gently modern, drawing from neoclassical aesthetics to create immersive, emotionally resonant works.
This intimate performance features a selection of Frances’ favourite works from her debut album Piano for Dreaming, alongside pieces from her subsequent releases.
The program will also include the premiere of several new works from her forthcoming album.
