SHSO presents: Piano and Passion
Join us for the Southern Highlands Symphony Orchestra's final concert series for 2026.
The centrepiece of the concerts is Tchaikovsky’s eloquent and melodically masterful Piano Concerto No. 1, played by Shoalhaven based pianist Luke Bowen. We'll continue to weave the joy of life into music, with:
- Verdi | Overture to Nabucco
- Grieg | Wedding Day at Troldhaugen
- Dvorak | Slavonic Dance No. 8
We'll extend the tapestry of romance and drama with:
- John Williams | Jurassic Park Theme
And to bring it home, the orchestra will feature compositions by two composers from the Southern Highlands:
- Oscar Dunn-Luck | Waltz Fantasia
- John Corley | Christmas Crackers.
It's a program that has it all - fine classical music, the joy of live performance, a celebration of our local artists and much more.
