Making it through the fake stuff in the digital age

A presentation for teens and young adults (14+) by The Culture Project Australia

What is love? We ask this question of thousands around the country and - other than “Baby, don’t hurt me!” - most don’t have an answer. Having grown up surrounded by a culture that's searching for happiness and love in all the wrong places, we know what it’s like to be confused about who we are and what we’re made for.

- Can our generation have real love and happiness?
- What are the fake imitations that influence us? (e.g. lust, pornography, and the hookup culture)
- How can we tell the difference?
- What’s the purpose of our sexual desire?
- What are some practical ways to live authentically in a culture of fakes?
- How can we become the men and women that we're created to be?

For the answers to these questions and more, join us at the Goodwood Community Centre on the 9th of November at 7pm!

The Culture Project is a Catholic movement of young men and women set out to restore our culture. In Australia since 2014, we have been reaching over 15,000 members of our own generation per year with two key messages: our inherent worth and dignity and our capacity for authentic love. As missionaries for a restored culture, we dream of a world where every single human person is seen as someone to be loved. We live, pray and work in community, and are currently based in Sydney.
