This year, marks 125 years of Philippine Independence. The Filipino communities globally will celebrate to commemorate this significant milestone. In Brisbane, we will celebrate with a family fun day with multi -cultural festivities at the annual Barrio Fiesta Brisbane with the theme, Kalayaan 125 (125 years of freedom), on Sunday, 11 June 2023.
Join us, celebrate this important milestone. Experience Philippines through food, music and dance. There will four live bands to entertain you as well as multicultural dances from the Philippines and other nations. Have a go at our Filipino traditional games, not just for children but for adults as well.
This community event is made possible through the support of the Queensland government through the Office of Multicultural Affairs Queensland.
