Presented by the Queensland Paediatric Cardiac Service (QPCS) specialist paediatric cardiac physiologists, supported by paediatric cardiologists and surgeons, this seminar will offer a unique introduction into paediatric and congenital heart disease (CHD) echocardiography.
The Foundation Seminar in Paediatric Echocardiography will feature expert lectures on the basics of cardiac embryology and fetal diagnosis, physiology of CHD presentations and echocardiography in commonly encountered cardiac anomalies.
This seminar is designed for cardiac sonographers and other health professionals, including physicians and others with a background in echocardiography. Participants should have a working knowledge of echocardiography techniques and applications to benefit most from this program.
