Walking with Horses – Mildura
About
Carers are invited to express their interest in a group Equine Assisted Wellbeing program involving interactions between individuals and horses to promote emotional growth and learning.This includes horses as a medium to address life challenges and improve emotional wellbeing. Horses are naturally empathetic, live in the moment and are keen observers, who are vigilant and sensitive to movement and emotion. They often will mirror behaviour or emotions, conveying understanding and connection providing a feeling of safety.
Date: Wednesday April 30, May 7 & 14
Time: 9.30am - 1pm
Venue: Mildura region
Carers must be able to attend all three sessions. Program is free and limited spaces are available. Please register by Wednesday 23 April.
