Join us for another evening of mental aerobics, competitive rounds and feasting to support Friends of Hebron support access to education for the children of Palestine.

The accelerated annexation of land in the West Bank has deeply affected communities and the Dkaika community is facing a targeted campaign of isolation and destruction by the Israeli Army. One way of making sure it survives is the provision of basic services, including education.

The long distance between educational institutions and the rugged desert road, traditionally travelled by foot or donkey, has made the education participation of (particularly female) students less likely. Ongoing threats of violence by settlers compounds the difficulty of accessing education.

Friends of Hebron Sydney is raising funds to support a driver and vehicle in Dkaika to provide safe passage for young students to school and University, including young women.
