Korumburra Secondary College presents the 2025 Bi-Annual Original School Production: If This Couch Could Talk. An original musical written and composed by L. Reymers & R. Handley. Two nights only: Friday 5th & Saturday 6th September 2025 at 7pm! Tickets are $15 for Adults, $10 for Concessions/Students, and Free for ages 0–5. If This Couch Could Talk takes the audience on a nostalgic journey through the past 50 years, exploring the evolution of urban life—one decade at a time—through the eyes of an unexpected hero: a humble couch. From its debut in a 1970s home with newlyweds Margie and George, to a 1980s teen sleepover, to its grungy 1990s garage band phase, it weathers it all. In the 2000s, it’s part of a share-house breakup, then comforts a gamer teen in the 2010s. By the 2020s, it’s in a sixth home, caught in a long-distance relationship. Through all the changes, the couch remains constant—a silent witness to the joys, struggles, and changes of urban living.
