Significant Trees Tour
Join local arboriculturist, Andrew Robert-Tissot, on this Significant Trees Tour. Learn the history behind the plantings of our most established trees, walk amongst Australia’s oldest oak avenue and visit the many ceremonial plantings along the way. The historic Government House garden covers approximately 15ha, our mature trees tower over the landscape providing shelter to the gardens below, are a haven for birdlife and provide stunning colours throughout the year. Photography is encouraged during your Tour.
Tour duration is approximately one (1) hour.
Time: 10.30 am
Parking: Available on site - please enter via the main driveway and follow the directions from Government House Staff.
Dress: Neat casual with enclosed comfortable shoes and appropriate wet weather gear.
Cost: Adult $30.00 (incl GST); Child (5-15) $10.00 (incl GST); Pensioner/Senior $20.00 (incl GST); Infant (0-4) free (Please note that a TryBooking processing fee will also be applied upon checkout.)

All revenue from our Tour Programs are directed to the heritage maintenance and preservation of the Government House Estate.
