As our main aim is to encourage more people to visit and explore our wonderful local businesses, so from the 19th Oct we have decided that entry into this event will be FREE! There is NO COST to enter and no need to pay to purchase a ticket. Just download a 'ticket to hunt' from our website www.visitgrantville.com.au with the map and location of the witches or collect a printe hard copy locally and get hunting.

It's time to fire up your broom and explore the Bass Coast region as you get hunting in The Great Witch Hunt Event 2026.
Download the map from our website www.visitgrantville.com.au and use that map to hunt out businesses where witches are displayed. Locate the witches and note down their unique identification number on the map. Some printed hard copies of the map are available from the Newhaven and Inverloch visitor informations centres, from the Artspace Gallery and information centre in Wonthaggi and from Maru Koala and Animal Park in Grantville.
Find at least 10x witches in at least 3x different towns, or take on the challenge to find every single witch!
Then return a scan or photo of your completed ticket to GreatWitchHuntEvent@gmail.com or hand in your printed and completed ticket to any Bass Coast Visitor Information Centre by the 1st November.
This will enter you in the draw to win great prizes including a family stay at the Ramada Resort in Cowes and other vouchers to great local attractions. Find all of the 58x witches and you will automatically receive a 1hr arcade game voucher to enjoy at Phillip Island Ten Pin Bowling.
This is a community not-for-profit event run by volunteers from the Grantville Business and Community Association, to support and promote local businesses and our region.
