Spend some slow time at Shalom and explore how working with sourdough bread can be a very spiritual exercise as well as a metaphor for other aspects of our lives. Unlike making most other foods, it’s a slow process and as you go through the different stages of bread making, you will find opportunities for spiritual contemplation and reflection. You will learn how to bake sourdough, learn some new meditative prayer styles and go on some lovely walks. You can do as much or as little as you want.
