Museum genomics in practice
Location
ANU Sciences Teaching Building 136 Linnaeus Way, Rm S1 (top floor), Acton, ACT, 2601
About
The purpose of this workshop is to share knowledge of practitioners in how we get (wet lab) and process (bioinformatics) next-gen sequencing data from “non-model” species and samples of diverse types and quality – including museum/herbarium specimens. The focus will be on high throughput and cost-effective phylogenomic, population genetic and (multilocus) barcoding applications and RNAseq, rather than full genome sequencing and assembly.
