What ever your level of teaching and playing this day workshop is for you. Topics including posture, bow and instrument hold, bow strokes, shifting, vibrato, intonation, tone production as well as group teaching techniques and preparation for performance will be covered. Bring your instrument, including violas and cellos and expect to be inspired and enlightened. Lunch. A Masterclass followed by a practical playing Workshop bringing to life topics covered in the morning.What ever your level of teaching and playing, this day workshop is for you. The morning topics including posture, bow and instrument hold, bow strokes, shifting, vibrato, intonation, tone production as well as group teaching techniques and preparation for performance will be covered.
The afternoon begins with a Masterclass followed more discussion and a practical playing Workshop bringing to life topics covered in the morning.
Bring your instrument, including violas and cellos, there are parctical elements in both morning and afternoon sessins.
Expect to be inspired and enlightened.
