Grade 3/4: Maths Problem Solving Club (Numeracy/Problem Solving) - Starting 29 April
Do you love Maths and want to be challenged? Are you excited by the idea of solving tricky Maths problems and improving your skills? Would you jump at the chance to spend more time exploring Maths topics? If you answered ‘yes’ to these questions, this club may be perfect for you.
In the Maths Club you’ll be invited to solve a range of tricky problems. You’ll be given problems at your own level and the teacher will be there to help when you need it. When you’re ready, you can take on bigger challenges and show your tenacity. You’ll learn about the key steps of problem solving and some new strategies for finding solutions more efficiently.
In addition, you'll explore intriguing Maths topics such as the connection between Fibonacci, nature and the Golden Ratio, the secret behind barcodes and weird Mobius Strip stories. You’ll also play strategy and maths games and think deeply about Maths concepts.
Get ready to be blown away by Maths in this program!
