St. Petersburg has one of the richest musical histories of any city in the world. The two trio concerts (on September 4th&5th) with St. Peterburg born musicians Roman Salyutov (piano), Lev Gordin (cello) and german violinist Liv Migdal will take listeners through an exciting range of Russian music by composers with a close connection to Saint Petersburg. Program Concert #1: Glinka, Trio Pathetique. Rimsky-Korsakov, Piano trio in C minor. - Intermission - Tchaikovsky, Piano trio in A minor.
