Upendo: Charity Night for Africa

Upendo is the Swahili word for both love and charity, and we hope you'll help us spread bucket-loads of both through this night.

Upendo: Charity Night for Africa will be a fun-filled night of trivia, music, games, silent auction and prizes to raise much-needed funds for two organisations making a change in Africa: Water for Africa, an Australian-based organisation installing and maintaining new water projects in remote African communities, and Mercy Ships, an entirely volunteer-run hospital ship that ports around Africa, performing life-changing surgery for people who would not otherwise have access.

Canapes will be served and drinks will be available for sale. This event is an alcohol-free event.

The Interact Club will donate 100% of profits directly to Water for Africa and Mercy Ships, so please consider bringing extra funds on the night for the chance to win some fantastic prizes and be part of making a positive difference in the lives of many.

Arrive from 6:30pm for a 7pm start. 10pm finish time. Friday August 9, 2019.

Ticket Price: $25 per person
Tables of 10: $250
