Book your child/children into a free 1 hour 'learn to ride' or 'bike skills' workshop at Cintra Park netball courts celebrating NSW Bike Week in partnership with the City of Canada Bay and the NSW Government.

The choice of two free workshops are on offer which will provide appropriate skill development catering to your childs cycling needs. That is, those who are beginners and those who want to build confidence and bike user knowledge.

The 'learn to ride' workshop is for beginners. This workshop will enable your child to grow in confidence on a two wheeled bicycle. The 'bike skills' workshop is a self-paced style workshop for children who have riding ability but would like to further develop their confidence, develop their riding technique and navigate obstacles which riders experience in everyday cycling. The workshop will be conducted in a non-traffic environment in an open space with trained coaches from 'Kids on Bikes' to ensure that your child has a safe and fun experience.

Limited childrens bikes will be  available for use at the workshop. If you require to hire a bike (free of charge) please select the appropriate booking option. Personally owned bikes are welcomed to be used. Please ensure the bike is in good working order. All riders are required to wear an Australian standard helmet by law.

A coffee cart will be available at the venue. For a discount, please bring your own reusable mug to enjoy the tea and coffee service on offer. Whilst you wait, you can also get your own bike tuned-up free of charge by local bike maintenance experts. Checks include brakes, tyre pressure and gears.
