British composer Ben Ponniah has written a jazz-inspired Requiem for performance by unaccompanied voices. The Australian premiere of this remarkable work will take place on Sunday 17 November in the Perth CBD. But then, there will be second performance in St Cuthbert’s just a few hours later, featuring a Q&A with the composer himself.
The work will be performed by Lux et Veritas under the direction of Mr Jangoo Chapkhana. This unique a cappella choral performance is not to be missed.
