Dear FCC members, families and friends
JOIN IN FOR SOME GOOD OLD-FASHIONED FUN
Try your hand at some weird and wonderful events inspired by FCC paddling carnivals of yester-year.
CHOOSE YOUR EVENT!
- Centipede race - paddling with hands only
- Tug-of-War on the water
- Crab Race - paddling sideways
- Kangaroo Race - propelling a canoe by standing on the back and bouncing
- Jousting – standing on a canoe and try to push over your opponent
- Flour-bomb Battle
- Pillow Fight
This is our opportunity to celebrate our wonderful club’s long history of paddling competition and fun, and to catch up with friends old and new.
Arrive at 10.30am, choose your event and kit up for it. Games start at 11am.
NB You’re likely to end up in the river - or at least get a bit mucky, even on dry land - so wear something suitable.
For those watching and cheering on from the bank ... morning tea will be served from the deck of the polo shed.
Lunch will be served at 1pm
Chefs will prepare a fabulous paella feast on the premises.
Three types of paella will be served (all gluten-free). Vegetarian option included. Gourmet salads will also provided, as well as soft drinks & juices.
Followed by decadent desserts and fresh fruit salad.
BYO wine/beer and chair
