Mitchelton Rotary Umoja Orphanage Fundraiser

Mitchelton Rotary are hosting a Dinner/Silent Auction to raise funds for the Umoja Children's Home in Kenya. Special Guest Speaker, Cathy Booth, Founder of Umoja, will share her inspiring story and provide us with an insight in to the progress made since its inception and highlight some of the challenges that still lie ahead. Our 2019 fundraiser was held to raise the roof on the second children's home "Sinnamon House" which was named in honour of passed Mitchelton Club Rotarian, John Sinnamon. The roof is now well and truly up but we need $25,000 to complete construction. All funds raised will go towards achieving the completion of the building.

Saturday 15th February 2020 - 6.00pm arrival with commencement of proceedings at 6.30pm
