TEAM is intended as a resource to:
• build the skills of advocates and those who have an advocacy component to their roles
• assist advocates – and those who share the empowerment mission - in explaining their approach to people with an intellectual disability
• build the decision-making skills of people with an intellectual disability throughout the advocacy process
• support people with an intellectual disability to become Self Advocates
• support Self Advocates to become Empowered
