Deep Listening Festival explores the theme 'Growing Strong Together' through story, art and music. Guest Speaker Akram Azimi, who fled Afghanistan and overcame adversity to become Young Australian of the Year in 2013, for his community work and mentoring of indigenous youth, will share his story. Local artists, including Maureen Munro, Silvia Busetto, Lee-Anne Townrow and Elaine Clocherty, will interpret the theme through art. Music by the wonderful Red Dress group. Refreshments included.
