Metro Arts presents
White Woman
by Jenni Large
Thank you for your ongoing support of Metro Arts and for your interest in White Woman.
Due to unforeseen circumstances this show will not be proceeding and all ticket holders have been fully refunded. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to welcoming you back to Metro Arts soon.
In this dance-based satire, the artist places herself as the object of interrogation to expose, confront and question intersections between whiteness, femininity, complicity and the transformational potential of self-enquiry.
Panel Discussion | Free, registration required | Friday 11 June 8.30pm
Hosted and curated by Katina Olsen with Alethea Beetson, Yolande Brown and Jenni Large. The Panel Discussion aims to de-centre whiteness and counter the artist's perspective, importantly highlighting the voices, perspectives and wisdom of local First Nations women discussing intersectional feminism, Indigenous advocacy and racial equity practices in relation to the arts and contemporary Australian society.
