Colour Me Capricorn Gladstone 2021

 

Save the date for Colour Me Capricorn Gladstone, presented by Jemena and Shell's QGC business! RACQ CapRescue invites you to be a part of the most colourful fun run in Gladstone this year! Run, walk, dance or stroll your way along the garden path, covering the Gladstone Ports Corporation Marina Parklands in a cloud of colour on 17th October 2021 from 6am. 

There will an energetic warm-up and 5km of colourful fun! We will have two distance options (2.5km & 5km) to cater for all ages and abilities.

All proceeds from Colour Me Capricorn Gladstone, presented by Jemena and Shell's QGC business, will go towards the RACQ CapRescue. Our service is free to all people within Central Queensland and is available 24 hours a day 365 days a year. With our annual operating costs projected upwards of $10.3M, we rely on 40% of this through valuable partnerships, funding, events and donations from within the communities we service. Come along to a fun, family event and help support your local Helicopter Rescue Service.

 

 

*Tickets are sold on the condition that purchasers are not entitled to a refund or exchange of their ticket in any circumstances. This non-refund policy does not include ticket holders who are unwell and suspect symptoms of COVID-19. Ticket holders will not be penalised for not attending the event when unwell. Instead they will be encouraged to stay at home and not attend the event.

**Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, participants will not be allowed to attend the event if unwell, display COVID-19 symptoms or have recently been in contact with or cared for someone diagnosed with COVID-19 (14 days prior to event), have travelled or have been in close contact with anyone who has travelled overseas (14 days prior to event) or travelled interstate for non-essential purposes 14 days prior to the event. We ask that you please stay home. 

***All participants will be required to complete a COVID-19 Health Screening Questionnaire upon collection of registration packs (up to 14 days prior to the event).

****All participants will be asked to display appropriate hygiene practices, practice social distancing (1.5m) and follow the directions of RACQ CapRescue staff and volunteers at all times. 

Event Location - Gladstone Ports Corporation Marina Parklands at Palm Point or Bryan Jordan Drive, Gladstone Central QLD 4680

We will have two distance options (2.5km & 5km).

Everyone and anyone are welcome to walk/run either option, just as long as you’re having fun!

PLEASE NOTE THAT AT THE START OF EACH HEAT THERE WILL BE A COLOUR THROW CREATING A RAINBOW CLOUD. PLEASE BRING THE COLOUR POWDER PROVIDED IN YOUR REGO PACKS TO CREATE OUR COLOUR CLOUD!

6:30am - Heat 1 - Adult & Team ticket holders only (13 years and over)

7:00am - Heat 2 - Adult, Youth, Team & Family ticket holders 

*Packs will not be available for collection until 14 days prior to the event. All participants must complete a COVID-19 questionairre prior to collecting their pack.

Children 2 years and under are free but will not receive a participant pack.
