EMILY MAGUIRE is the author of six novels and three non-fiction books including An Isolated Incident shortlisted for the Stella Prize, ABIA Literary Fiction Book of the Year and the Miles Franklin Award. She has also written three non-fiction books as well as articles and essays on sex, feminism, culture and literature which have been published widely including in The Sydney Morning Herald, The Australian, The Observer and The Age. SUZANNE LEAL is the author of novels The Deceptions, The Teacher’s Secret and Border Street. A regular presenter at literary events and festivals, she is the chair of the fiction and poetry panel for the Prime Minister’s Literary Awards and former senior judge for the NSW Premier’s Literary Awards. A lawyer experienced in child protection, criminal law and refugee law, Suzanne is a senior member of the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal and former member of the Refugee Review Tribunal.
